Personal Approach
I understand that when parents seek guidance from an EP like myself, they will be going through a very difficult time. As part of assessments, I work with a child’s parents, carers and educational settings to consider a child’s strengths and their barriers to learning. I have and continue to regularly assess children as part of their Education, Health and Care Assessments and Annual Reviews and regularly contributes to and attends First Tier SEND Tribunals. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with other SEND and mental health professionals and with Local Authority partners and believe strongly in the importance of joined-up working.
